  Do The Continents Really Move ? Geologist study about continental drifts . Geologist have found continents move over time . Today the theory of continental drift is replaced by tectonic plates theory. The continental drift theory is found by the early 20th century scientist Alfered wegener , He says that landmass of earth moves and he named this theory as continental drift. Alfered wegener in his theorey says once every continenets were one giant single landmass . And the giant land mass was called pangaea. Wegener studied astronomy , botany , zoology and geologist inorder, to find about pangaea. He studied about rocks , plants , animals , fossils which helped him to prove all the continents were a sinle landmass.  Pangaea was found befor 250 million years and after 200 million years it started to break and formed continents what we study now. Scientist did not accept wegener theory because he failed to prove how mechanically the continents move and he gave a random answer that . But
