It can be any forms . It is stable substance under 80 degree centigrade. If anyone inhaled less than 1 milligram then he will be dead in the natural way after 48 hours . The symptoms of inhaling Ricin are respiratory distress (difficulty breathing), fever, cough, nausea, and tightnessinthe chest.  What is ricin used for? Ricin is by product of castor oil , unfortunately it is used as biological weapons by Assassins.
