                                                          The September 11 Attacks   The September attacks also referred as 9/11 is a series of 4 Terrorist attack by the terrorist group al-Qaeda. The al Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York                                                    The third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Shan ksville, Pennsylvania. Almost 2996 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which triggered major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism and def ined the presidency of George Bush . Four passenger  airliners  which had departed from airports in the  northeastern United States  bound for  California  were  hijacked  by  19 al-Qaeda terrorists .
